This work has a life of its own and does best when lights aren't directly pointed at it. It has lots of reflective qualities that make it interesting. "Me Coyote" is a mixed media piece I did this fall of 2020. As sightings of coyotes grow in neighborhoods everywhere, he became a living member of our wildlife population that we see more of as our human population grows and expands. Of course seeing one of these creatures at times is alarming to some. So I wanted to convey this hungry little coyote in a way that gets your attention. The eyes are gold mirror glass and his coat lots of Monster GRAPE energy drink cans with paint. He needs very little light shining on him and can be most interesting in a darker room. The reflection aspects of the work create interest as the light changes.
